Common use of Removable media devices Clause in Contracts

Removable media devices. All electronic files that contain Protected Data data must be encrypted when stored on any removable media or portable device (i.e. USB thumb drives, floppies, CD/DVD, Blackberry, backup tapes etc.). Must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), with a 128bit key or higher
