Relocation Leave. Employees shall be granted a leave of absence, with pay, for the purpose of relocating their family and/or personal effects to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Falls or Wabush.
(a) Five (5) days of eight (8) hours per day at the employees' normal rate of pay when after having been accommodated on single status they are initially assigned family accommodations.
(b) Three (3) days of eight (8) hours per day at the employees' normal rate of pay, when after living on married status in a furnished unit they are first assigned unfurnished accommodations provided they have not previously received a benefit under Clause 24:12 (a). In this instance travel as per Clause 41:01 (f) shall not apply where the relocation of personal effects and furnishings were provided at initial hiring.
(c) Three (3) days of eight (8) hours per day at the employees’ normal rate of pay when a single employee first becomes married and is assigned family accommodations.
(d) Three (3) days of eight (8) hours per day at the employees' normal rate of pay when, at their time of hire, they are assigned unfurnished accommodations but were provided furnished accommodations while awaiting their personal effects and furnishings to arrive on site. In this instance travel as per Clause 41:01 (f) and (g) shall not apply.
(e) Three (3) days of eight (8) hours per day at the employees’ normal rate of pay when an employee requests and is granted unfurnished accommodations. In this instance Travel as per Clause 41:01 (f) and (g) shall not apply. Leave granted under this Clause 24:12 shall only apply to the employee who is assigned the accommodations. An employee may claim such leave more than once, to a maximum of five (5) days during their term of employment.
Relocation Leave. Effective 01 December 2009, a full-time or part-time employee who is a spouse of a person who is being relocated/posted/transferred to another geographical location for work reasons may be granted relocation leave without pay for a period up to twelve (12) months, for the purpose of assisting them with their transition to another NPF position at their new location without a break in service, provided that they meet the following eligibility requirements:
(a) the employee must submit a written request for relocation leave to their manager at least four (4) weeks in advance;
(b) the employee must provide advance written confirmation that they are voluntarily giving up rights to their substantive position effective the first (1st) day of their relocation leave (thus allowing their former position to be immediately filled on a permanent basis);
(c) the employee must provide advance written confirmation that they will be deemed to have voluntarily resigned from the NPF employment effective the last day of their relocation leave in the event if they are not successful in obtaining another NPF position during their leave;
(d) the employee must ensure their previous location has
(e) the employee must provide proof of the spouse’s relocation/ posting/transfer; and
(f) an employee may continue group benefits and/or pension coverage provided the employee pays both the Employer’s and their share of contributions and premiums. The employee shall, along with the request for relocation leave, notify the Employer in writing of the options concerning the pension and group benefits coverage.
Relocation Leave. A staff member is entitled to two days’ paid leave if required to remove household goods to a relocated residence due to a direction by the University to perform all or the major part of his/her duties at a place other than the staff member's previous place of work.

Relocation Leave. A Teacher is entitled to a maximum of one (1) day’s leave per year for the purposes of moving their place of abode. The timing of this leave must be negotiated with the Principal prior to any leave being taken. This leave is non cumulative.

Where an Employee is required by the University to perform all or the major part of the Employee's duties at a different campus of the University (e.g. if the Employee's role is relocated to a different campus) and the Employee elects to relocate to a residence closer to the new place of work (or at a more convenient location for public transport), the Employee shall be entitled to two (2) working days of paid leave for the purpose of relocating to the new place of residence.

Relocation Leave. The Company will provide you with up to 2 days paid leave for your relocation to the Host Location. Relocation leave may be used in the Home Location or Host Location, or as a split between the two locations.
