Relief Deck Officers. If a Relief bids assignments and has selected or been assigned seventy-six (76) to eighty (80) hours of work during the work period without using their scheduled compensatory time off, the Relief shall not use their compensatory time and the compensatory time shall be automatically cancelled. The cancelled comp time slot shall be offered to the next person on the standby list for comp time. The Employer and the Union agree to renegotiate subsection “9.13 D” below. Negotiations shall commence no later than January 18, 2021, and shall be concluded no later than March 1, 2021. If an agreement is not reached, the parties may submit the issue to arbitration.

  • APPOINTING OFFICERS The Member may appoint officers or managers and define their function and authority per Section 00-00-000 of the Act.

  • Senior Management and Board of Directors 1. A Member State shall not require that a juridical person of that Member State appoint to senior management positions, natural persons of any particular nationality.

If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member. In the case of the death, disability or absence of the President, a Vice President shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of the President until the Member appoints a new President.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement.   • Union Officers and Committee Members Union Officers and Committee Members shall be entitled to leave their work during working hours in order to carry out their functions under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the investigation and processing of grievances, attendance at meetings with the Employer, participation in negotiations and arbitration. Permission to leave work during working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on various committees, as referred to in this Agreement, shall be considered as time worked.

  • School Board Responsibilities The exclusive representative recognizes the right and obligation of the School Board to efficiently manage and conduct the operation of the School District within its legal limitations and with its primary obligation to provide educational opportunities for the students of the School District.
