Common use of Released Parties Clause in Contracts

Released Parties. The term “Released Parties” as used in this Release includes: (a) the Company and its past and present divisions, subsidiaries, partnerships, affiliates, and other related entities (whether or not they are wholly owned); and (b) the past and present owners, trustees, fiduciaries, administrators, shareholders, directors, officers, partners, agents, representatives, members, associates, employees, and attorneys of each entity listed in subpart (a) above; and (c) the predecessors, successors, and assigns of each entity listed in subparts (a) and (b) above. 1 The pertinent severance provision will be inserted before this release is executed.
