Reinforcement. A. The placement and positioning of reinforcing steel shall conform with ACI 301, ACI 318, ACI 350R and any special requirements shown on the Drawings. Welding of reinforcing steel will not be permitted. No tack welding will be permitted. Existing reinforcing steel to be reused shall be thoroughly blast cleaned. Where reinforcing steel supports touch forms, they shall be plastic tipped.
