Common use of Regulatory Limitation Clause in Contracts

Regulatory Limitation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, but only to the extent required under federal banking law, the amount payable under Subsections (a) and (b) of this Section 10 shall be reduced to the extent that on the date of the Employee’s termination of employment, the amount payable under Subsection (a) or (b) of this Section 10 exceeds the limitation on severance benefits that is set forth in Regulatory Bulletin 27b of the OTS and OTS Thrift Activities Handbook Section 310, as in effect on the Effective Date.
