REGULAR WORKING TIME AND CALCULATION PERIOD. Regular working time may not exceed an average of 40 hours per normal business week during a calculation period of no more than six months. If shorter working time is applied, the lower weekly working time shall be applied in the average calculation. The employer and the salaried employee organisation may agree a calculation period of a maximum of 12 months. Such an agreement may apply to an individual salaried employee or to a group of salaried employees. Notice of termination of such an agreement shall be made at least three months before the end of the validity period.
