References to Parties Clause Samples

The "References to Parties" clause defines how the parties involved in the agreement are identified and referred to throughout the contract. Typically, this clause clarifies whether terms like "the Company," "the Client," or similar designations refer to specific named entities or individuals, and may also address how successors, assigns, or affiliates are included in such references. By establishing clear and consistent terminology for the parties, this clause ensures there is no ambiguity about who is bound by or benefits from the contract, thereby promoting clarity and reducing the risk of disputes over party identification.
