Common use of References and Construction Clause in Contracts

References and Construction. (a) Whenever required by the context, and is used in this Agreement, the singular number shall include the plural and pronouns and any variations thereof shall be deemed to refer to the masculine, feminine, neuter, singular or plural, as the identification of the Person may require. References to monetary amounts, specific named statutes and GAAP are intended to be and shall be construed as references to United States dollars, statutes of the United States of the stated name and U.S. GAAP, respectively, unless the context otherwise requires. When appearing in this Agreement, the terms “include”, “includes” and “including” shall be deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation” (whether or not they are in fact followed by such words) or words of like import.
