Recycling Plan. The recycling plan shall document and fully detail the Developer’s commitment to recycling, waste minimization and use of “green products” during all aspects of Work. The recycling plan shall document the Developer’s recycling initiatives as well as methods and procedures for maximizing the use of recycled materials in all aspects of the Work. If recyclable materials shall be used in lieu of TxDOT approved construction and maintenance materials, Developer shall follow the TxDOT specification DMS 11000.

The recycling plan shall be reviewed and approved by TxDOT, prior to NTP2. The recycling plan for the demolition and removal of the existing bridge structure must be reviewed and approved by TxDOT prior to demolition activities. Hazardous Waste, as defined by 40 CFR Part 261, shall not be recycled. If nonhazardous recyclable materials are used in lieu of TxDOT approved construction and maintenance materials, Developer shall follow the TxDOT Material Specification DMS 11000.

Recycling Plan. Description: The FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 includes a requirement for Airport Master Plans to address recycling by: Task 1.11 – Prepare Draft Narrative Report Description: A draft Narrative Report will be prepared in conformance with and meet the standards of the FAA’s ARP SOP 2.00 – Appendix A – ALP Review Checklist. Information prepared in the preceding tasks will be incorporated into the narrative report. The report will include all Checklist items from Appendix A, Section A.1 except the following: 1). An electronic copy (PDF) and up to five (5) printed copies of the draft narrative report may be provided to the Sponsor for appropriate distribution including FAA if requested. The Consultant will make a presentation to the Sponsor advisory board. Consultant travel is outlined in Task 5.4. This presentation may be conducted remotely, if necessary, as outlined in Task 5.4a.

Recycling Plan. Description: The FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 includes a new requirement for airport Master Plans to address recycling by: • Evaluating the feasibility of solid waste recycling, • Minimizing the generation of waste, • Identifying operations & maintenance requirements, • Reviewing of waste management contracts, and • Identifying the potential for cost savings or revenue generation. To develop a recycling plan that meets this FAA requirement, the Consultant will: 1. Collect baseline information on the airport’s waste management program. Meet with Airport staff to understand how waste is managed at the airport and what current education efforts for passengers, employees, contractors and tenants are already in place. In addition, collect information such as waste collection contracts, monthly waste/recycling invoices, and the waste-related costs for waste and recycling (containers, hauling, disposal, and labor). It should be clearly stated that there will not be a new audit of waste to be completed as a part of this effort. 2. Assess existing waste management program. To understand the sources, composition, and quantities of waste generated at the airport, conduct a facility walk-through and an examina- tion of monthly waste/recycling invoices. 3. Assess opportunities for expansion of recycling program. Review current waste collection con- tracts and conduct research on current market conditions to determine whether there are any logistical limitations to expanding the recycling program. 4. Develop recommendations for improving the recycling program. Based on the above assess- ment of the airport’s waste and recycling program, develop recommendations for improving the airport’s recycling program as well as minimizing waste generated at the airport.   • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.

  • Meal Plan 18. Residents are required to purchase a meal plan for both semesters. Refer to ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇/▇▇▇▇ for details on meal plan rates. Residents may contract for a meal plan of a higher value than stipulated in the fee schedule. 19. The meal plan may only be used to purchase food and beverages at Food Service outlets designated by the University. Meal plans cannot be used to purchase alcohol or gift certificates from any of our Off Campus Partners or to pay any other fees owed to the University of Windsor. 20. Selling of unused meal plan money is not permitted. 21. The University accepts no liability for lost, misplaced or stolen student cards and reserves the right to confiscate without recourse, any student card which bears evidence of alterations. 22. Any unused balance remaining in the meal plan accounts of the Resident on the termination date of this Agreement, will be subject to the University of Windsor Meal Plan Carry-Forward Policy. 23. Residents may add money to their meal plan at the Food Services office, J01 in Vanier Hall or the UwinCard Office in the CAW Student Centre (lower level). 24. The meal plan account is HST exempt on most purchases made at Food Service outlets on campus, except on taxable items at the Bru in Alumni Hall or with our Off Campus Partners. This is a current meal plan tax policy and is subject to change in accordance with provincial or federal legislation. 25. Meal plan fees or hours of operation are subject to change as deemed necessary or when due to circumstances beyond Food Services' control. The University reserves the right to increase or otherwise change the prices of items available for purchase in its Food Service outlets. Residents will be given reasonable notice of changes to the plan and such changes will be made fairly and in due consultation with student representatives.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.
