Common use of Recurring Transactions Clause in Contracts

Recurring Transactions. You must obtain the Cardholder’s prior written consent for recurring transactions, including a description of the product and the frequency and duration of the recurring charge, and notify the Cardholder that he or she may cancel recurring billing charges at any time. You must retain evidence of such written consent for 24 months from the date you submit the last recurring billing charge. You will honor any Cardholder cancellation, and if this agreement is terminated for any reason, you will, at your own cost, advise all Cardholders to whom you submit recurring billing charges that you no longer accept the Card for amounts owed.
