Record of Interviews. A. All interrogations and/or interviews of members conducted in conjunction with a Internal Investigations Unit shall be audio recorded by the Fire Department at the request of either party; and in the case of chain of command investigations, at the request of either when the investigator reasonably believes that departmental charges may result. Subsequent to the interview, the member and/or their attorney and/or Union Representative will be afforded the opportunity, upon written request directly to the Chief or designee, to listen to and make personal notes from or verify the accuracy of the audio recording made of the members interview. If a transcript of the audio recording is made by the Fire Department, the member will be provided a copy of such transcript upon written request directly to the Chief or his designee.
