Recognized City Holidays. The following days shall be recognized as holidays with pay for all regular employees covered by this Agreement who are in pay status the day before and the day following such days. Regular full-time employees shall be given the day off and eight (8) or ten (10) hours of straight time pay depending on their schedule of work. All regular part-time employees shall be given the day off and a prorated six (6) hours if ¾ time or four (4) hours if ½ time of straight time pay for all hours they would have been scheduled to work that day: • New Year's Day - January 1 • Presidents' Day - Third Monday in February • Xxxxxx'x Day - Last Monday in MarchMemorial Day - Last Monday in May • Independence Day - July 4 • Labor Day - First Monday in September • Alaska Day - October 18 • Veterans Day - November 11 • Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday • Christmas Day - December 25 • One Floating Holiday

Recognized City Holidays. Employees who are assigned to a forty (40) hour work week shall be given the holiday off with pay if not required to work, or shall receive eight (8) bonus hours if required to work on that day.

  • Recognized Holidays Holidays upon which the general prevailing hourly wage rate for Holiday work shall be paid, shall be all holidays in the collective bargaining agreement, applicable to the particular craft, classification, or type of worker employed on the project, which is on file with the Director of Industrial Relations. If the prevailing rate is not based on a collectively bargained rate, the holidays upon which the prevailing rate shall be paid shall be as provided in Section 6700 of the Government Code.   • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
