RECOGNITION/UNION MEMBERSHIP‌. The City recognizes the Union pursuant to the provisions of the Avalon Municipal Code Section 2-6.101 et. seq. as the exclusive bargaining representative for all employees employed by the City who are members of the Management Division only, and no other employees, in full-time employment of the City. The MOU shall apply to classifications and positions represented by the Management Division, which are not reservists, seasonal, temporary or contract employees, or who are otherwise employed in an at-will classification. The MOU shall apply to classifications and positions represented by the International Association of Firefighters Local No. 2295, which are not management unit employees, reservists, seasonal, temporary or contract employees, or who are otherwise employed in an at-will classification.
RECOGNITION/UNION MEMBERSHIP‌. Section 1.1 Recognition Pursuant to PERB Case No. C-4009, the Employer recognizes the Teamsters Local Union #264 as the representative of NFTA Police Lieutenants and Sergeants. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the purpose of establishing salaries, wages, hours and other conditions of employment and the administration of grievances arising thereunder for the term of this agreement for all Employees covered by this agreement in all classifications as determined by the New York State Public Employment Relations Board to be in the bargaining unit. The period of unchallenged representation for the Union shall be the maximum permitted by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Law.
