RECOGNITION AND SCOPE 1.01 The Company agrees to recognize the Union as the sole collective bargaining agent for employees covered by this Agreement.
Purpose and Scope (a) The purpose of these standard contractual clauses is to ensure compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation)1 for the transfer of personal data to a third country.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Union and the employees and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.
Definitions and Scope 1.1 Employees shall have the right to present grievances in accordance with the procedures prescribed in this Article.
Allocation and use of scarce resources Any procedures for the allocation and use of scarce resources, including frequencies, numbers and rights of way, will be carried out in an objective, timely, transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The current state of allocated frequency bands will be made publicly available, but detailed identification of frequencies allocated for specific government uses is not required.
Modification to Article IV, Section 7 of the DPA Article IV, Section 7 of the DPA (Advertising Limitations) is amended by deleting the stricken text as follows: Provider is prohibited from using, disclosing, or selling Student Data to (a) inform, influence, or enable Targeted Advertising; or (b) develop a profile of a student, family member/guardian or group, for any purpose other than providing the Service to LEA. This section does not prohibit Provider from using Student Data (i) for adaptive learning or customized student learning (including generating personalized learning recommendations); or (ii) to make product recommendations to teachers or LEA employees; or (iii) to notify account holders about new education product updates, features, or services or from otherwise using Student Data as permitted in this DPA and its accompanying exhibits. RECOGNITION AND DEFINITIONS 2.01 The Employer recognizes the Ontario Nurses’ Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for all registered nurses, and nurses with Temporary Certificates of Registration, employed in a nursing capacity at the Queen’s Family Health Team at Queen’s University in Kingston, save and except nurse manager and persons above the rank of nurse manager.
Captions; Articles and Sections The captions contained in this Agreement are for reference purposes only and are not part of this Agreement. Unless otherwise indicated, all references to particular Articles or Sections shall mean and refer to the referenced Articles and Sections of this Agreement.
Headings and Schedules Headings used herein are not a part of this Agreement and shall not affect the terms hereof. The attached Schedules are a part of this Agreement.
