Recall and Reemployment. Recall from a layoff shall constitute reinstatement under the same terms and conditions as all other bargaining unit employees.

Recall and Reemployment. An employee who has achieved full-time, non-probationary status at the time of layoff shall have the employee's name placed on a recall list which shall be maintained for twelve (12) months from the time of layoff. Employees on the recall list shall be first called by seniority to be reemployed in openings in the classification from which the employees were laid off before other employees are hired to fill those openings. Employees bumped as a result of a layoff shall be allowed to return to openings in the position from which they were bumped by seniority at the salary for the position to which the employee returns. Employees restored to previously held positions shall be deemed to have returned from a leave of absence for the purpose of seniority.

  • Layoff and Reemployment A. Application Whenever it is necessary because of a lack of work or funds, or whenever it is advisable in the interest of economy to reduce the number of permanent and/or probationary employees (hereinafter known as "employees") in any State agency, the State may lay off employees pursuant to this Section.
