Reasonable Suspicion. 168. Reasonable suspicion as used within this section is defined as a belief based on objective and articulable facts sufficient to lead a reasonable supervisor to suspect that an employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, such that the employee’s ability to perform the functions of the job safely and effectively is impaired or reduced.
