Common use of Reappointments Clause in Contracts

Reappointments. through the first four years of full-time-equivalent service shall be at the discretion of the ▇▇▇▇ with the recommendation of the Chair/Head, who shall consider such factors as performance, need for the individual’s services, and availability of funding. Non-reappointment within the first four years of full-time- equivalent service shall not be grievable. Reappointment beyond the fourth year of full-time-equivalent service shall be a continuing appointment as specified in Section 21.9.2 below.
