Common use of Reaching Agreement Clause in Contracts

Reaching Agreement. When consensus is reached covering the areas of discussion, the proposed agreement shall be reduced to writing as a memorandum of understanding and submitted to the Association and the Board for approval.

Reaching Agreement. When consensus is reached through dialogue, covering the areas of under discussion, the proposed agreement shall will be reduced to writing as and a memorandum of understanding and tentative agreement submitted to the Association Union and the Board for approval. Following approval by the union and by the Board, the Board will, by resolution, adopt the agreement. The Union and the Board agree to abide by the terms of the agreement and to take the necessary action to advise its members of the terms of the agreement.
