RE-LEASING FEE Sample Clauses

The RE-LEASING FEE clause defines the landlord's right to charge a fee to the tenant if the tenant ends the lease early and the landlord must find a new occupant. Typically, this fee covers the administrative costs and efforts involved in advertising, showing the property, and processing a new lease agreement. Its core function is to compensate the landlord for the time and resources spent re-leasing the property, while also discouraging tenants from breaking the lease without considering the financial consequences.
