Re-Employment Preference. For twelve months following the date of layoff, a Nurse who has been permanently or indefinitely laid off shall be given preference for employment in any posted Nurse vacancy for which s/he applies, unless in the judgment of supervision, another applicant for the position is better qualified. The Employer shall have sole discretion as to the determination of appropriate Nurse level for Nurses exercising this preference.

Re-Employment Preference. A Nurse who has been permanently or indefinitely laid off shall be given preference for employment in any posted Nurse vacancy for which s/he applies, if in the judgment of supervision s/he possesses sufficient skill and ability to perform without additional training the actually expected work, unless another applicant for the position is better qualified. The Employer shall have sole discretion as to the determination of appropriate Nurse level for Nurses exercising this preference.
Re-Employment Preference. 8.2.1 A bargaining unit member who has taught at least one (1) class or received an assignment of at least fifty-four hours in an academic year, for two (2) consecutive academic years, and received a “satisfactory” rating on his/her most recent evaluation shall receive re-employment preference, subject to the procedures specified below. A unit member who receives less than a “satisfactory” evaluation shall not be eligible for re-employment preference. Evaluation shall be subject to Article 6 of this Agreement.
Re-Employment Preference. Those employees whose names are in the employment pool will be given upon request preference by seniority where preparation and experience are equal in the District’s employment of substitute teachers.
