Common use of Rate Retention Clause in Contracts

Rate Retention. During a shift when an employee is transferred to or from a job carrying a higher rate for sixty (60) minutes or more, the higher rate is to apply for the entire shift.

Rate Retention. During a shift when an employee is transferred to or from a job carrying a higher rate the higher rate shall apply for sixty all time worked at the higher rate. Where an employee works for one hundred and twenty (60120) minutes or more, the higher rate is to apply for the entire shift.
