Ranks Clause Samples
The "Ranks" clause establishes a hierarchy or order of precedence among various items, individuals, or entities within a contract or agreement. In practice, this clause may specify which party's rights or obligations take priority in situations where there is a conflict, or it may outline the order in which claims are addressed, such as in the distribution of assets or responsibilities. By clearly defining the ranking, this clause helps prevent disputes and ensures that all parties understand the sequence in which rights or duties are to be recognized or enforced.
Ranks. 25.3.1 Full-responsibility faculty Members shall be appointed at one of the following ranks:
Ranks. The ranks for Librarians are:
a) Librarian I;
b) Librarian II; c) Librarian III;
Ranks. This policy applies to full-time appointments of NTT Librarian Faculty, which normally consist of faculty in the ranks of Librarian I, Librarian II, and Librarian III.
Ranks. Appointments shall be at the rank of Professor (CDC), Associate Professor (CDC), or Assistant Professor (CDC).
Ranks. The three levels of rank are considered as a continuum of performance from potential to actual -- potential at the Assistant level to actual at the Professorial level. Following are definitions of each rank.

Ranks. Faculty Members shall be appointed at one of the following ranks:
Ranks. Appointment of a Faculty Member shall be to the rank of:
(1) Lecturer; or,
(2) Assistant Professor; or,
(3) Associate Professor; or,
(4) Professor.
Ranks. This policy applies to full-time appointments of NTT faculty, which normally consist of faculty in the ranks of instructor, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer. NTT faculty that were previously granted other ranks, such as assistant professor, may keep that rank and are not required to apply for promotion.
Ranks. 18.1.1 Employees shall be classified in accordance with Academic Ranks specified in Article 13.1.
18.1.2 Effective on July 1, of each year, an employee shall be assigned a rank from Article 13.1.1 in accordance with the procedures and provisions of Articles 13, 14 and 16.
Ranks. 5.1.1 Members appointed with a tripartite appointment shall be appointed at one of the following ranks:
(a) Assistant Professor
(b) Associate Professor
