Quadriplegia. If within the Operative Time an Insured Person sustains Bodily Injury resulting in Quadriplegia and Permanent Total Disablement the Company shall pay a benefit to the Insured for the benefit of the Insured Person in accordance with the Sum Insured shown in the Personal Accident Specification. The Sum Insured for Quadriplegia is payable in addition to the Core Benefits Sum Insured.
Quadriplegia. Quadriplegia means the permanent and total paralysis of the two upper limbs and two lower limbs.
Quadriplegia. The additional amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits if the Insured Person suffers Permanent Total Disablement as a result of Quadriplegia.

Quadriplegia. The total and permanent loss of the functioning of both arms and both legs due to disease or injury to the brain or spinal cord. This must be confirmed by a neurologist or neurosurgeon, and neuro-imaging tests such CT scan or MRI.
Quadriplegia. The permanent and total paralysis of all four limbs of the body. Temporary Partial Disablement Temporary disablement which prevents the Insured Person from engaging in more than 60% of his/her usual occupation. Temporary Total Disablement Temporary disablement which completely prevents the Insured Person from engaging in or giving attention to all elements of his/her usual occupation. Total Loss of Hearing Total, permanent and irrecoverable loss of hearing. Total Loss of Speech Total, permanent and irrecoverable loss of speech. United Kingdom England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. War War shall mean armed conflict between nations including forces acting for any international authority, whether War be declared or not, invasion, civil war, any attempt to usurp power, or any activity arising out of an attempt to participate in military force between nations. The following Exclusions apply.
Quadriplegia. The Permanent and entire paralysis of both legs and both arms. Severe Burn Skin damage which extends through the epidermis layer of the skin to the dermis layer for 2nd degree xxxxx or skin damage which extends through the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin to the subcutaneous layer for 3rd degree burn.
