PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES. The Parties have entered into this Agreement to: (i) facilitate the coordination of planning and operation of their respective Transmission Facilities within the PJM Region; (ii) transfer certain planning and operating responsibilities to PJM; (iii) provide for regional transmission service pursuant to the PJM Tariff and subject to administration by PJM; and (iv) establish certain rights and obligations that will apply exclusively to the Parties and PJM.
