Purpose of the Program. The purpose of the Resident Educator Program is to assist the eligible Resident Educators, as defined by the Ohio Department of Education, to have a deeper understanding of teaching and learning as a reciprocal, collaborative, and ongoing journey. There is a transformation in the Resident Educators as they now embrace and accept the challenges and responsibilities of teacher leadership within and beyond the Resident Educator Program.

Teachers who are referred 8 to or who volunteer for the Peer Assistance and Review Program are valuable professionals 9 who shall be provided the best resources and support for improving and strengthening their 10 instructional performance. 11

The Hospital will contribute financially to an individual's participation in educational programs and/or courses intended to improve present job skills and/ or taken to prepare for other jobs/positions within the Hospital to which the employee might reasonably be promoted or transferred, The program is intended to assist employees in the improvement of their professional qualifications. There is no assurance that participation, in itself, will result in advancement or any other changes in current employment status.
