Public School Academies. A. The District will provide notice to the Association of any formal inquiry regarding a public school academy application made to the District, or an application to an ISD, Community College, or public university of which it has knowledge.
Public School Academies. Should the Employer decide to grant a contract to form a Public School Academy, the Association shall be notified prior to the same becoming operational.

Public School Academies. The District will provide immediate notice to the Association of any contact, correspondence, or inquiry regarding a Public School Academy application made to the District.
Public School Academies. The district agrees to furnish the Association with a copy of any application seeking authorization of a public school academy and all required information concerning the application to authorize a public school academy.
Public School Academies. This Appendix applies if the school named in the Partnership Agreement is a public school academy as defined in MCL 380.5(7).
Public School Academies. The District will not during the Term of this Agreement authorize a public school academy or transfer its educational functions to a public school academy without the approval of the Treasurer.

Public School Academies. Should the district consider the authorization of a public school academy, the contract will be reopened for negotiations over the impact on bargaining unit members. Any agreement reached will be subject to ratification by the parties.
Public School Academies. The Employer agrees that it will not authorize changing the Xxxxxxx Area Career Center to a Public School Academy during the term of this Agreement which has the purpose or effect of removing bargaining unit work or positions or which will cause the layoff or reduction in hours of any bargaining unit member.
