Common use of Public Holiday Work Clause in Contracts

Public Holiday Work. (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

Public Holiday Work. (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, required to work on a public holiday must be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time and one half. The double time and a half must is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty. See Appendix 4 for any a list of prescribed Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hoursHolidays.
