  • Charges and Payments a. Room and board payments may be made at one time for each semester or as arranged through the University Student Accounts Office. Resident is responsible for paying all room and board charges for the entire term of the lease. The University reserves the right to raise room and board rates at any time upon thirty (30) day notice.

  • CHARGES AND PAYMENT 6.1 The Charges for the Services shall be as set out in the Purchase Order or Award Letter, and shall be the full and exclusive remuneration of the Supplier in respect of the performance of the Services. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Customer, the Charges shall include every cost and expense of the Supplier directly or indirectly incurred in connection with the performance of the Services.

  • Taxes, Other Governmental Charges and Utility Charges The Company shall pay during the Term all taxes, special assessments and governmental charges of any kind whatsoever as the same become due, respectively, that may at any time be lawfully assessed or levied upon or with respect to the Facilities, against any property of the Company brought in or upon the Facilities, any sales and excise taxes on products or transactions thereof, any taxes levied upon or with respect to income or profits from the Facilities and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any taxes which, if not paid, would become a lien on the Facilities, all utility and other charges incurred in the operation, maintenance, use, occupancy and upkeep of the Facilities and all other assessments and charges of any nature that may be secured by a lien on the Facilities; provided, however, with respect to special assessments or other governmental charges that may lawfully be paid in installments over a period of years, the Company shall be obligated to pay only such installments as are required to be paid during such period. The Company may, in good faith, at its expense in its own name, contest any such taxes, assessments and other charges and, in the event of any such contest, may permit the taxes, assessments or other charges or payments in lieu of taxes so contested to remain unpaid during the period of such contest and any appeal therefrom. Otherwise the Company shall promptly pay or cause to be paid such taxes, assessments or charges. In the event that the Company shall fail to pay any of the foregoing items required by this Section to be paid by the Company, the Trustee may (but shall be under no obligation to) pay the same, and any amounts so advanced therefor by the Trustee shall become an additional obligation of the Company to the party making the advance, which amounts, together with interest thereon from the date thereof at the rate stated in Section 5.2, the Company agrees to pay.

  • Taxes, Charges and Liens Pay and discharge when due all of its indebtedness and obligations, including without limitation all assessments, taxes, governmental charges, levies and liens, of every kind and nature, imposed upon Borrower or its properties, income, or profits, prior to the date on which penalties would attach, and all lawful claims that, if unpaid, might become a lien or charge upon any of Borrower’s properties, income, or profits.   • Operating Costs Tenant shall pay to Landlord the Tenant’s Percentage of Operating Costs (as hereinafter defined) incurred by Landlord in any calendar year. Tenant shall remit to Landlord, on the first day of each calendar month, estimated payments on account of Operating Costs, such monthly amounts to be sufficient to provide Landlord, by the end of the calendar year, a sum equal to the Operating Costs, as reasonably estimated by Landlord from time to time. The initial monthly estimated payments shall be in an amount equal to 1/12th of the Initial Estimate of Tenant’s Percentage of Operating Costs for the Calendar Year. If, at the expiration of the year in respect of which monthly installments of Operating Costs shall have been made as aforesaid, the total of such monthly remittances is greater than the actual Operating Costs for such year, Landlord shall promptly pay to Tenant, or credit against the next accruing payments to be made by Tenant pursuant to this subsection 4.2.3, the difference; if the total of such remittances is less than the Operating Costs for such year, Tenant shall pay the difference to Landlord within twenty (20) days from the date Landlord shall furnish to Tenant an itemized statement of the Operating Costs, prepared, allocated and computed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Any reimbursement for Operating Costs due and payable by Tenant with respect to periods of less than twelve (12) months shall be equitably prorated.

  • Training Costs All costs and expenses incurred by the Contractor in training as is required under Article 22 of the Contract.
