The 'Provide and install' clause requires one party, typically a contractor or supplier, to both supply specified materials, equipment, or systems and ensure their proper installation at the project site. In practice, this means the responsible party must deliver the required items and complete all necessary setup, assembly, or integration work, such as installing lighting fixtures or HVAC units. This clause ensures that the project owner receives a fully functional and operational product, reducing the risk of disputes over responsibility for delivery versus installation and streamlining accountability for both supply and setup.
Provide and install a gate height sensor on the material discharge gate. Connect the sensor to the spreader control system. If possible, gate height information shall be output to the AVL.
