Protection Devices. All protection devices which are used to prevent damage to the power source in the case of an overload or stalling shall reset themselves after the overload or the automatic switch off. After resetting of the protection devices, the motion in the closing direction shall not resume without a deliberate action on the control device.

Protection Devices. Safety equipment and devices needed to perform assigned instructional duties shall be provided each teacher; it shall be subject to inspection by OSHA in order that it can be maintained in a safe manner. Teachers shall not be expected to purchase instructional equipment from personal funds.
Protection Devices. At EXE's request, Customer shall use EXE's hardware-based copy protection device (EXE's currently supported device is Rainbow Technology's Net Sentinel) on all installations of the Licensed Product outside of the United States and Canada to enable the copy protection features of the Licensed Product at those sites. ABSENCE OF THE DEVICE WHEN PROTECTION IS ENABLED CAUSES THE DEACTIVATION OF CERTAIN KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE LICENSED PRODUCT (SUCH AS PRINTING, DATA IMPORT AND EXPORT) BUT DOES NOT DAMAGE OR OTHERWISE AFFECT EXISTING DATA. Customer acknowledges that this additional protection is required by the lack of controls on software piracy in many markets. Customer shall acquire the required number of devices (one per network) from EXE. Customer shall pay for the devices at EXE's cost, plus reasonable costs of shipment and handling, within thirty (30) days of Customer's receipt of EXE's invoice therefor.

  • Devices BNY Mellon will restrict the transfer of Customer Data from its network to mass storage devices. BNY Mellon will use a mobile device management system or equivalent tool when mobile computing is used to provide the services. Applications on such authenticated devices will be housed within an encrypted container and BNY Mellon will maintain the ability to remote wipe the contents of the container.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Electronic Devices No electronic devices that may hinder job performance or safety (especially cell phones), may be carried on employees’ person, or be used by employees during working hours.
