Common use of Promotion Clause in Contracts

Promotion. Advancement from a position in one (1) class to a position in a higher class, defined as one having a maximum salary rate at least one (1) step (at least 5%) higher than the employee's former class.

Promotion. Advancement from a position in one (1) class to a position in a higher class, defined as one having a maximum salary rate at least one (1) step (at least 55.0%) higher than the employee's former class.
