PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS Clause Samples
The PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS clause sets out the general standards, obligations, and expectations that apply to all aspects of a project, regardless of specific tasks or phases. It typically covers overarching issues such as safety protocols, quality standards, environmental compliance, and coordination among different contractors or teams. For example, it may require all parties to adhere to certain site access rules or to use specified materials throughout the project. PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) Reconstruction of a portion of US 90 in St. ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, with a four-lane controlled access facility that meets Interstate standards (F-3 roadway classification);
B) Reconstruction and widening of LA 318 to a two-way, two-lane roadway with median and shoulders (RC-3 roadway classification);
C) A system of frontage roads (RC-2 roadway classification) that provides connectivity to highways, ramps, businesses, and residences within the Project limits;
D) Minimal lowering of the existing Level of Service on all existing roadways in the Project vicinity during the Project duration;
PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) Widening of I-10 to six lanes with shoulders. The widening shall occur within the current Right-of-Way and shall include signage, road side safety, and lighting (where lighting currently exists). The roadway cross slope and pavement section shall be constant across the full width of roadway, including shoulders;
B) Replacement of the Interstate bridges over Highland Road (LA 42) to accommodate the widened Interstate section and provide a minimum horizontal continuous clearance of 230 feet over Highland Road (LA 42);
C) Widening and rehabilitation of the Interstate bridges over Bayou Manchac to accommodate the widened Interstate section;
D) Rehabilitation of the LA 928 bridge over I-10 including increasing the minimum vertical clearance over the interstate to 16 feet 6 inches;
PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) Upgrading a portion of US 90 in Lafayette Parish, from an existing four-lane facility to a six-lane controlled access facility that meets Interstate standards (F-2 roadway classification);
B) Providing a system of frontage roads that provides connectivity to highways, ramps, and businesses within the Project limits;
C) Minimal lowering of the existing Level of Service on all existing roadways in the Project vicinity during the Project duration;
D) Providing for Project and public safety, including emergency operations;
E) Providing relief and improvements for localized drainage issues;
F) Considering existing (as well as permitted, but not constructed) utilities during design and construction to avoid and/or minimize utility conflicts. The Project also includes utility coordination and relocation, as required;
G) Acquiring necessary Right-of-Way, as determined by final design; and
H) Providing systematic signalization for functionality of the intersection of US 90 and the frontage road system, ramps, and Albertson's Parkway at the new US90/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/s Parkway interchange.
PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) A grade-separated interchange which is to replace the existing, at-grade, US 90 intersection with LA 85;
B) Two parallel overpasses, each consisting of two lanes with shoulders, and each capable of spanning future widening of LA 85 to a five-lane section, on US 90 over LA 85;
C) No improvements required on LA 85 except as set forth in the Proposal or as may be necessary to support the final design of the Project.
PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) Widening of Interstate-12 to six lanes with shoulders, including signage and barrier rail, commencing at O’▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ and ending at [The end of Project termini will be filled in based on the successful Proposer’s length of the Project.];
B) Widening of overpasses to six lanes with shoulders;
C) Replacement of the existing Amite River bridges with a new six lane bridge facility, with shoulders and an approximate bridge length of 2,600 feet. Single or twin superstructures are acceptable;
D) Removal of the existing soil plug between the existing Amite River bridge and the existing Amite River relief bridge;
E) Replacement or widening of the bridges over Grey's and Coyell Creeks, if necessary;
F) Concrete barrier rail or other necessary pier protection for any bridges over Interstate-12;
G) Modification of drainage structures to accommodate the widened Interstate-12 and its runoff;
H) Consideration of existing utilities during design to avoid utility conflicts and utility coordination and relocation, if necessary; and
I) Modification of existing roadway lighting and accommodation for future roadway lighting and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
PROJECT-WIDE REQUIREMENTS. The Project includes the following:
A) Widening of Interstate-10 to six lanes with shoulders, including signage and median barrier, commencing at the Easternmost terminus of SP# ▇▇▇-▇▇-▇▇▇▇ (Eastbound and Westbound) and ending at the Highland Road Overpass;
B) An overpass structure widened to six lanes with shoulders over the Kansas City Southern (KCS) Railroad;
C) Remove and reconstruct the distressed portions of the northwest bound entrance ramp at Highland Road;
D) Widening of the ▇▇▇▇’▇ Creek Diversion Canal bridge to six lanes with shoulders;
