PROGRESSIVE REVIEW. When serious allegations arise, however, which are related to the performance of, or conduct of, a bargaining unit faculty member, and said allegations are brought to the attention of Western, Western shall under all circumstances, unless legal and/or compelling ethical considerations exist which provide justifiable cause for not doing so, arrange an investigatory meeting with the bargaining unit faculty member within thirty (30) days of the date the allegations are brought to the attention of Western as the initial step in the review and discipline process.
