Professional Meeting Leave. A. Professional meeting leave is that leave granted to a bargaining unit member to attend a conference, workshop, class visitation, or other professional meeting.
Professional Meeting Leave. 1. Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) shall be budgeted for use by teachers to attend professional academic meetings and conferences.

If such has been approved for reimbursement, such reimbursement shall be within the guidelines of the Board of Trustee's policy manual.

Professional Meeting Leave. A faculty member may be granted leave with or without pay for the purpose of attending off-campus professional meetings. This leave may be granted during summer duty days. If any such leave is approved, the faculty member may also be reimbursed, in whole or in part, for travel expenses incurred in attending such meeting. Application for such leave shall be submitted in writing to the Campus Vice President and Xxxxxxx or designee at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the use of such leave.
Professional Meeting Leave. 1. Professional meetings approved by the Superintendent shall be permitted to any bargaining unit member, providing funds are available, without loss of pay or benefits, with the Board paying all fees up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per person. This includes mileage.
Professional Meeting Leave. Teachers may apply in writing to the Principal for permission to attend professional meetings and workshops. Within budget constraints and in the sole determination of the Superintendent, together with the Principal’s recommendation, permission to attend such meetings may be approved either at no loss of pay and/or with reasonable reimbursement for the cost of the same. The Union President or his/her designee shall be released without loss of pay for a maximum of six (6) days per school year in total, taken in no less than one-half day increments, in order to attend to Union business provided, however, the Superintendent is given at least one week notice (except in cases of emergency) and provided further that the Union shall reimburse the District for the actual cost of substitutes.
Professional Meeting Leave. A. A certified staff member may be approved by the Board to be absent from school to attend a conference, workshop, Association-related conference, or any other meeting approved by the Board.
Professional Meeting Leave. 1. Attendance at professional meetings - an undefined number of days with full pay may be allowed for absence due to attendance at professional meetings. The meetings must be related to the work performed by the employee. The number of days and the value of the meetings are subject to the approval of the Superintendent.
