Common use of Professional Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Professional Liability Insurance. (if Applicable) $1,000,000 per occurrence limits of liability or whatever limit is customarily carried by the Contractor, whichever is greater, for design, design-build or any type of professional services with a minimum of three (3) years reporting of claims following completion of the project.

If coverage is required on a minimum claims-made or claims-made and reported basis, any applicable retroactive or pending & prior litigation dates mush precede the effective date of this contract. Continuous coverage shall be maintained, or an extended reporting period shall be obtained for a period of at least three (3) years reporting of claims following completion of the project.
