Common use of Professional Improvement Leave Clause in Contracts

Professional Improvement Leave. A. Any unit member, after two (2) years of successful service to the District, may, upon request and approval, be granted a leave of absence for up to one (1) year. Upon application, one (1) additional year of professional improvement leave may be granted, subject to determination of benefit to the District and Board approval.
