PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE. 4-6.01 The agenda of the Professional Improvement Committee shall be prepared jointly by the chairperson and the secretary.
PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE. 4-5.01 The union and the board shall form a parity committee to administer funds provided for Professional Improvement and to establish Professional Improvement priorities. This committee shall be known as the Professional Improvement Committee, hereafter referred to as the P.I.C. All minutes, letters or other communication from the P.I.C. shall have the sole heading “Professional Improvement Committee.” 4-5.02 It shall be the P.I.C.’s responsibility to identify priority needs in professional improvement and to plan to meet these needs.
PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE. 4-6.01 The composition and the general rules for the functioning of the PIC are set forth in article 4-3.00. The PIC shall be responsible for the administration of the amounts available for professional improvement. It shall establish the guidelines for the approval and repayment of the expenses incurred to implement the professional improvement and in-service plans for teachers ensuring that any substitution costs relating to an in-service are prioritized for payment.

  • PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.

  • Professional Improvement Leave A teacher may be granted leave to be used for the teacher's professional improvement. Professional improvement days may be approved by the superintendent and used for the purpose of:

  • EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A leave of absence without pay of up to one (1) contract year may be granted to any employee, upon application, for the purpose of engaging in study at an accredited college or university reasonably related to professional responsibilities.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Project Steering Committee (a) The Recipient shall establish and maintain at all times until the completion of the Project, the Project Steering Committee with a composition, mandate and resources satisfactory to the Association.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.
