Common use of Professional Dues Clause in Contracts

Professional Dues. Upon mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer, the Employer may deduct the annual professional registration dues paid by Employees from the salary of the Employee and remit, where possible, directly to the professional association. Where the professional association will not accept the payment directly from the Employer, the Employer shall pay out the deducted fees to the Employee once per year at a time determined by the Employer. It is the responsibility of the Employee to ensure that all registration information is submitted to the Employee’s association within the submission deadline.
