Prior State Service. Any employee who was employed by the State or any political subdivision of the State is entitled to have prior service with these agencies counted as service with the Employer for the purpose of computing vacation leave. The anniversary date of employment for the purpose of computing vacation leave is the anniversary date of the prior service with the State or other political subdivision. An employee who has retired in accordance with the provisions of any state retirement plan offered by the State and is hired by the State shall not have his/her prior service with the State or any political subdivision of the State counted for purpose of computing vacation leave.
