Printers. The only printers allowed for purchase through this solicitation are special printers sole use for which is tied to mail room equipment. If a regular printer (e.g. an HP Printer) is able to be utilized in the same fashion, and function as the printer available from the Contractor, then the printer from the Contractor is not allowed. Allowable printers may be purchased with a mail room equipment system or as a product replacement from a purchase from this or a previous Master Agreement.

Printers. Employees purchasing printers that meet District requirements will be assisted in the installation of said printers. The District will not be responsible for maintenance costs for said printers nor for the purchase of toner cartridges. This provision is in no way intended to eliminate or diminish an employee’s access to District network printing.

Printers. Provider’s support is limited to troubleshooting connectivity issues between the specified server(s) and/or workstations and the specified printer(s). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, Client is responsible for the any issues related to physical breakdowns and any costs related to hiring a repair technician to perform the physical repair of any printers.
Printers. The configuration of printers on managed Macs is limited to networked workgroup printers where either Apple provides a PPD or the printer manufacturer provides a compatible printer driver. NSMS deploys up to ten printer configurations per unit. NSMS will charge for any work resultant from setting up additional or specialist printers. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure purchased printers are compatible with the release of Apple Mac OS X in use. The client may consult NSMS prior to purchasing printer hardware to ensure the requirements are met.
