Principal Registrar definition

Principal Registrar means the Principal Registrar of the Supreme Court appointed under the provisions of this Act, and includes a duly appointed acting Principal Registrar;

  • The Principal Registrar shall transmit to the consular or other authority by whom the request for service was made a certificate certifying that the process or a copy thereof as the case may be, was served on the person, at the time and in the manner specified in the certificate, or if such be the case, that service of the process could not be effected for the reason so specified, and certifying the amount properly payable for effecting or attempting to effect, service.

  • All payments out of court shall be made by the Accountant or Public Trustee as the case may be, in favour of the party claiming to receive the money on the production by him of a form or request signed by the party entitled to receive the money or his solicitor, and duly marked by the Principal Registrar as approved as set out in regulation 15.
