Common use of Primary Care Physicians Clause in Contracts

Primary Care Physicians. Members must select a PCP upon enrollment. You can choose any PCP who is available and accepting new patients, from the list of PCPs who are Participating Providers. If you do not choose a PCP yourself, AvMed will select one for you.

If you receive primary care services from a PCP other than the PCP we have on record for you, the services will not be covered by us, and you will be solely responsible for the cost of such services.
