PREPAID FREIGHT Sample Clauses
The PREPAID FREIGHT clause establishes that the cost of transporting goods is paid in advance by the shipper, rather than upon delivery or arrival. In practice, this means the shipper settles the freight charges with the carrier before the cargo is loaded or shipped, regardless of whether the goods ultimately reach their destination. This clause ensures that the carrier receives payment upfront, reducing the risk of non-payment and simplifying the financial arrangements between parties involved in the shipment.
