Predevelopment Funds Sample Clauses

Predevelopment Funds. Upon review and approval of the HOPE VI Budget, as described in Article VII(C)(1), HUD will make the approved predevelopment funds available to the Grantee for drawdown in LOCCS. The Grantee will ensure that the funds are expended in conformance with the HUD-approved Predevelopment Budget.

Such Funds shall be subject to the City’s General Ordinances concerning affirmative action, workforce utilization, nondiscrimination and accessibility. PMF shall keep a record tracking the expenditure of the Funds which the City shall have access to upon reasonable request to inspect such record.

  • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund.   • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.
