Common use of Preceptor Pay Clause in Contracts

Preceptor Pay. A nurse assigned by the Medical Center to mentor new nursing department nurses, RN and LPN students (but not including students whose instructors are present at the facility) and surgical scrub technicians under the Medical Center’s preceptor program shall receive $1.35 per hour in addition to the nurse’s regular rate of pay for each hour worked while performing in this role. The Medical Center will select preceptors based on clinical skills, experience, communication skills and teaching skills. Nurses may be required to attend an approved preceptor class in order to qualify for preceptor pay.

The Medical Center Effective the first 6 full pay period following July 1, 2024, the preceptor differential will select preceptors based on clinical skills, experience, communication skills and teaching skills. Nurses may be required increase to attend an approved preceptor class in order to qualify for preceptor pay$6.00.

The Medical 28 Center will select preceptors based on clinical skills, experience, communication skills 29 and teaching skills. Nurses may be required to attend an approved preceptor class in 30 order to qualify for preceptor pay.

A nurse assigned by the Medical Center to mentor new 8 nursing department nurses, RN and LPN students (but not including students 9 whose instructors are present at the facility) and surgical scrub technicians 10 under the Medical Center’s preceptor program shall receive two dollars 11 ($1.35 2.00) per hour in addition to the nurse’s regular rate of pay for each hour 12 worked while performing in this role. The Medical Center will select 13 preceptors based on its determination of clinical skills, experience, 14 communication skills and teaching skills. Nurses may be required to attend 15 an approved preceptor class in order to qualify for preceptor pay.

A nurse assigned by the Medical Center to mentor new 33 nursing department nurses, RN and LPN students (but not including students whose 1 instructors are present at the facility) and surgical scrub technicians under the Medical 2 Center’s preceptor program shall receive two dollars ($1.35 2.00)$1.50 per hour in addition 3 to the nurse’s regular rate of pay for each hour worked while performing in this role.
