Common use of Precautionary Measures Clause in Contracts

Precautionary Measures. (1) Upon reasoned request by the applicant party, the requested party shall take precautionary measures to ensure recovery of a claim insofar as the laws and regulations in force in the State of the requested party so permit. (2) For the purposes of implementing the first paragraph, the provisions and procedures laid down in Articles 59, 60, 62 and 63 of this Annex shall apply mutatis mutandis.
