Pre-Recovery Inspection by Airbus Clause Samples
The 'Pre-Recovery Inspection by Airbus' clause establishes Airbus's right to inspect an aircraft or equipment before any recovery or repair work begins. In practice, this means that Airbus personnel may examine the condition of the item in question to assess damage, verify compliance with warranty terms, or determine the appropriate recovery procedures. This clause ensures that Airbus can accurately evaluate the situation before authorizing or performing any remedial actions, thereby protecting both parties' interests and preventing unnecessary or inappropriate repairs.
Pre-Recovery Inspection by Airbus a) The Aircraft (together with the Aircraft Documents) shall be made available to Airbus for ground inspection by Airbus or their authorised representatives, at the inspection location, no later than six (6) months before the Scheduled Buyback Date (the Pre-Recovery Inspection).
b) The Pre-Recovery Inspection will not disrupt the commercial operation or maintenance of the Aircraft.
c) After the Pre-Recovery Inspection has been performed, Airbus will deliver to the Seller within thirty (30) calendar days following the last day of the Pre-Recovery Inspection a list of all the inspected items (including areas, components and Aircraft Documents), indicating any discrepancies found and specifying the remedial works required in order to comply with the Delivery Conditions. The list of discrepancies provided to the Seller following the Pre-Recovery Inspection will be an exhaustive list of discrepancies identified at the occasion of the Pre-Recovery Inspection and such list shall be updated as required during the Delivery Inspection.
