The Post-Observation Communication clause establishes the procedures and expectations for communication between parties following an observation, such as a site visit, audit, or performance review. Typically, this clause outlines the timeframe within which feedback or findings must be shared, the format of such communications (e.g., written reports or meetings), and any required responses or follow-up actions. Its core function is to ensure that both parties are promptly and clearly informed about the outcomes of the observation, facilitating transparency and enabling timely resolution of any identified issues.
Post-Observation Communication a. Within a reasonable amount of time following each observation or series of observations, the evaluator will:
(1) Document and share the results of the observation in writing or by using the applicable web- based evaluation tool. The evaluator will share his/her observation report with the teacher within 15 working days.
(2) The teacher may request a meeting to review the observation report if desired.
b. Each classroom teacher will have the opportunity to submit artifacts or evidence to support his/her performance at any time after the observation(s).
c. If a teacher is at risk of being rated Basic or below, the evaluator must schedule a time to meet with the teacher after the observation(s) to review concerns

The classroom teacher must respond within five (5) days. Should an evaluator determine that a teacher should be moved from a focused evaluation to a comprehensive evaluation for that school year, the teacher must be informed of this decision in writing at any time on or before December 15.
