Police Commission. If the decision is not satisfactory, the Union may present such grievance in writing to the Police Commission within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the decision of the Chief of Police. Within ten (10) calendar days of the receipt thereof, the Police Commission shall meet with the representatives of the Union for the purpose of resolving such grievance. A written decision thereon will be provided to the Union within thirteen (13) calendar days following the date of the meeting.

Police Commission. If the employee or the Union is not satisfied with the decision rendered by the Chief, the employee or the Union shall submit the grievance in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days after receiving the Chiefs decision, to the Police Commission which shall render a decision within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of said grievance. The Police Commission shall forward a written notice of its decision to the employee and the Union within fourteen (14) calendar days of its decision. Step 4: Arbitration If the Union is not satisfied with the decision rendered, it shall (within ten (10) calendar days after the receipt of the decision of the Police Commission) submit the grievance to arbitration by the Connecticut State Board of Mediation and Arbitration, and the decision rendered by the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties. The Arbitrator shall have no power to add or to subtract from, or modify in any way, the terms of this Agreement.
Police Commission. The City shall supply updated copies of the rules and regulations of the City to each employee covered by this Agreement. In addition, the City shall allow employees to utilize a City owned photocopy machine to make copies of the rules of the Police Commission.

  • Real Estate Commissions Pursuant to a separate written agreement, Seller has agreed to pay Self Storage Investment Services, Inc. (“Broker”) a real estate commission upon consummation of the transaction contemplated by this Agreement.   • Public Works Installation work which is considered public works is excluded from purchase under this Contract. Historically, the New York State Bureau of Public Works has maintained that installation, maintenance and repair of equipment attached to any wall, ceiling or floor or affixed by hard wiring or plumbing is public work. In contrast, installation of a piece of equipment which is portable or a “plug-in” free-standing unit would not be considered public work. Thus, this Contract does not authorize installation where the equipment becomes a permanent part of the building structure, or is otherwise incorporated into the fabric of the building (e.g., installation on a wall, ceiling or floor in a fixed location, or affixed by hard-wiring or plumbing).   • Broker’s Commission The parties recognize as the broker(s) who negotiated this Lease the firm(s), if any, whose name(s) is (are) stated in Item 10 of the Basic Lease Provisions, and agree that Landlord shall be responsible for the payment of brokerage commissions to those broker(s) unless otherwise provided in this Lease.   • Residence Community Living Standards The Residence Community Living Standards (“RCLS”) forms a part of this Agreement. It details the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of Residents as well as the residence conduct process. Each Resident is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to the terms outlined within the RCLS. The Manager and the Institution may amend the terms of the RCLS from time to time and may post the amendments in the Residence. Failure to abide by the RCLS may result in eviction from Residence and termination of this Agreement as per the violations and sanctions outlined in the RCLS, and as stated in section 8.01(d).   • Payment of Commission 7(1) The Company may exercise the power to make payments by way of brokerage or commission conferred by the Law in the manner provided by the Law.

  • Dealers’ Commissions Except for volume discounts described in the “Plan of Distribution” section of the Prospectus, which volume discounts shall be the responsibility of the Dealer to provide to investors who qualify, and except as otherwise provided in the “Plan of Distribution” section of the Prospectus, the Dealer’s sales commission applicable to the Shares sold by Dealer which it is authorized to sell hereunder is 7.0% of the gross proceeds of Shares sold by it and accepted and confirmed by the Company, which commission will be payable by the Dealer Manager. No sales commissions shall be paid with respect to Shares issued and sold pursuant to the Company’s distribution reinvestment plan. For these purposes, shares shall be deemed to be “sold” if and only if a transaction has closed with a subscriber for Shares pursuant to all applicable offering and subscription documents, the Company has accepted the subscription agreement of such subscriber, and such Shares have been fully paid for. The Dealer affirms that the Dealer Manager’s liability for commissions payable is limited solely to the proceeds of commissions receivable from the Company, and the Dealer hereby waives any and all rights to receive payment of commissions due until such time as the Dealer Manager is in receipt of the commission from the Company. In addition, as set forth in the Prospectus, the Dealer Manager may, in its sole discretion, reallow a portion of its dealer manager fee to Dealers participating in the offering of Shares as marketing fees, reimbursement of costs and expenses of attending educational conferences or to defray other distribution-related expenses. The parties hereby agree that the foregoing commission is not in excess of the usual and customary distributors’ or sellers’ commission received in the sale of securities similar to the Shares, that Dealer’s interest in the offering is limited to such commission from the Dealer Manager and Dealer’s indemnity referred to in Section 4 of the Dealer Manager Agreement, and that the Company is not liable or responsible for the direct payment of such commission to the Dealer. In addition, as set forth in the Prospectus, the Dealer Manager may reimburse Dealer up to 0.5% of gross proceeds for bona fide due diligence expenses incurred by such Dealer. The Dealer Manager shall have the right to require the Dealer to provide a detailed and itemized invoice as a condition to the reimbursement of any such due diligence expenses.
